Job Description:
GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:Under the direction of the Director
of Human Resources, the Recruiter will be responsible for the full
process of the recruitment cycle for open positions within TFI USA.
They will develop recruiting strategies to attract and retain high
quality applicants to our organization. The Recruiter will also
provide expertise on TFI USA s compensation structure and employee
benefits package to ensure we remain competitive in the
market.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Develop strategies to recruit
and retain high-quality candidates within our businessBuild
applicant sources by researching and contacting colleges, local
community services, job boards, social media, and other Internet
job posting sitesUse job posting site added features, such as
Indeed s resume database, to source more qualified candidates for
open positionsWork closely with management to determine the
staffing needs within each department to develop staffing plans
throughout the businessRecruit for all open positions within the
business based on approved requisitions as directed by the Director
of HRProactively recruit candidates to assist TFI USA with
transitioning from a temporary staffing model to a permanent
employee model, including screening resumes, phone interviewing
applicants, and building a candidate databaseSubmit qualified
candidates to hiring managers upon completion of phone
screenSchedule interviews with hiring managers, setting up
conference rooms and lunch, as warranted; provide interview
information to applicant, setup travel and lodging as needed for
out-of-state applicants; setup a facility tour, as warranted for
the interviewMake verbal offers to the selected candidates at the
direction of the hiring managersProvide resume, candidate s home
address, and accepted offer details to the HR Generalist to compile
offer letters for selected candidatesProvide expertise on TFI USA s
compensation structure and employee benefits package to ensure we
remain competitive in the marketAssist with converting temporary
staff to TFI USA employeesAssist with other projects and tasks as
requested by management within scope and abilitiesJOB
REQUIREMENTS:Associates degree in business or human resources or
comparable work experience in Recruiting3+ years of experience in a
recruiting role for a manufacturing facility; food manufacturing
preferredStrong communication skills, both verbal and writtenStrong
interpersonal skillsAbility to navigate through the programs within
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Ability to
multitask and problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced
environmentSelf-starter, able to take tasks and run with themDetail
oriented, results driven, strong time management skillsStrong
understanding of confidentiality and ability to maintain
confidential information within the HR departmentAbility to read
and understand Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and provide
input on developing new SOPs for recruitment and staffing
needsUnderstand, abide by, and enforce all safety regulations as
well as policies and procedure set forth by Thomas Foods
International, USAAble to work in either TFI-USA location;
Corporate office is located in Cherry Hill, NJ and the plant
location is Swedesboro, NJ.
