- Pasta and EggsGeneral Summary:Under the guidance of the Associate
Director- Ingredients, this position is responsible for the
procurement of commodities & market driven ingredients for the
Pasta and Egg categories as assigned for all Campbell locations and
co-manufacturers in North America with an annual spend valued at
over $35MM. The individual will ensure quality of materials,
competitive pricing, adherence to company policies, procurement
processes and endeavors related to the operation of a proactive and
strategic Procurement Team.Principal Accountabilities:Analyze
relevant markets, develop price expectations and work with the
Associate Director Ingredients to formulate and implement price
risk management strategies using futures and options as
applicable.Drive robust category strategies across plant networks,
supply base, and align with business goals and objectives.
Evaluatestrategies based on changing market conditions and provide
inputs during strategic sourcing activities, including internal and
external analysis and negotiations.Create, manage and execute
category management strategies for cost reduction or value
enhancement that result in tangible benefits to the bottom
line.Assess realized benefits from sourcing and develop improvement
strategies and initiatives post-sourcing.Learn leading edge
purchasing and risk management techniques and champion the use of
formal category management techniques and processes.Continuously
improve upon personal skills - adopting continuous learning and
skill development and seeking feedback.Assist in the preparation of
monthly commodity projections and market updates to various
business units.Job Complexity:Responsible for an ingredient spend
of $35MM that supports M&B, C-Snacks and
Co-Manufacturing.Understanding of commodity futures and options
markets driving corn, wheat and soybean meal prices and other
price/market drivers of the commodities.Analyze markets and develop
a price forecast using available information on supply-demand,
currency & economicimpacts, weatherand speculative positions.Ensure
items are purchased in accordance with established policies and
procedures by working closely with Corporate, Business Units and
Plant personnel.Develop and utilize category/commodity knowledge to
support business objectives.Evaluate and purchase materials for our
facilities at a competitive cost. Execute and provide input to
strategy. Manage and evaluate acquisition process (Sourcing,
Developing and Negotiating) ensuring competitiveness and limiting
the riskFacilitate cross functional groups to develop Productivity
programs that deliver Enabler and Total Procurement Value (TPV)
targets. (Category Management).Assist in the development of
Supplier Relationship Management programs that focus on Quality,
Productivity and Innovation.Become a Subject Matter Expert of
category specific information on spend, supplier performance, user
adoption and compliance, standards and specifications and industry
benchmarks.Promote value engineering analyses to support ongoing
performance improvement and cost reduction.Actively promote
Campbell's Supplier Diversity Strategy.Commitment to Campbell
Leadership Model.Minimum Requirements:Bachelor Degree3-5 years of
relevant experienceMicrosoft Excel and PowerPoint experienceSAP
experience preferredStrong analytical skills, including statistical
and forecasting skillsKnowledge of agricultural markets and
financial derivativesStrong attention to detailStrong written and
oral communication and presentation skillsLead projects and
candidly Influence audience towards decision makingCompensation and
Benefits:The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried
position is between$72,900-$117,300Individual base pay depends on
work location and additional factors such as experience,
job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay
may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer
competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on
