Job Description Job Description LHH Recruitment Solutions is
partnering with a company in Nassau County to fill an accounts
payable position. The Accounts Payable position is responsible for
supporting the Accounts Payable function by ensuring timely and
accurate processing of invoices, expense reports, and payments. The
role involves maintaining financial records, reconciling vendor
statements, and assisting in month-end closing processes. This is a
temp to hire opportunity and can pay $62K when perm and $30 an hour
temp. Key Responsibilities : • Review, verify, and process supplier
invoices expense reports • Ensure proper approvals and account
coding before processing payments • Enter invoices into the
accounting system with accuracy and timeliness • Assist with
payment runs (check, ACH, wire transfers), ensuring adherence to
payment terms • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve
discrepancies or issues with suppliers • Maintain organized records
of all accounts payable transactions • Support month-end closing by
preparing reports and assisting with accruals • Respond to internal
and external inquiries regarding payment status • Assist with
audits and provide documentation as needed • Perform other general
accounting duties as assigned Qualifications: • High school diploma
or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in
Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred • 1-2 years of
experience in accounts payable or general accounting preferred •
Knowledge of basic accounting principles • Proficient in Microsoft
Office, especially Excel. • Strong attention to detail and
organizational skills • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet
deadlines • Good communication and problem-solving skills Medical
