Coordinator - Medicare & Medicaid (Enrollment Support) NEEDS STRONG
EXCEL EXPERIENCE A healthcare organization is seeking a
detail-oriented and highly organized Eligibility Coordinator to
support the Eligibility Team in confirming pre-enrollment Medicare
and Medicaid eligibility and assisting with enrollment processing
for Medicare products. This role plays a critical part in ensuring
accurate member enrollment and compliance with regulatory
standards. Position Summary The Eligibility Coordinator is
responsible for verifying Medicare and Medicaid eligibility prior
to enrollment and supporting the accurate processing of enrollment
and disenrollment transactions. This position requires strong
attention to detail, data integrity, and the ability to manage
multiple systems and documentation processes efficiently. Essential
Responsibilities Accurately input enrollment and disenrollment
information into internal databases Confirm pre-enrollment Medicare
and Medicaid eligibility for applicants Maintain the integrity,
confidentiality, and security of sensitive member data Enter
notifications into multiple internal systems as required Organize
and manage documentation, including enrollment forms and
Medicare/Medicaid clearance documentation Download and upload
documents into various electronic systems Assist with reviewing
Medicare enrollment and disenrollment letters for accuracy Support
the Eligibility Unit with special projects and additional tasks as
needed Qualifications & Competencies Industry Knowledge
Understanding of healthcare provider services and payment models
Familiarity with Medicare and Medicaid eligibility processes is
strongly preferred Core Competencies Planning & Organizing Ability
to set goals, prioritize tasks, and manage timelines effectively
Problem Analysis Strong analytical skills to identify
discrepancies, interpret data, and resolve issues Coordinating &
Resource Management Efficiently manage documents, systems, and
workflow processes Integrity & Accountability Demonstrates
reliability, professionalism, and adherence to compliance standards
Takes ownership of responsibilities and self-corrects when needed
Communication Skills Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to interact effectively with senior leadership, providers,
and regulatory agencies Facilitates clear and professional
