General Summary: This position will be responsible for assisting the Consumer Promotions organization in the management of approximately $150-$200 million in spend for the operating companies within North America. The scope of this role includes all Consumer Promotions Agencies, FSI's and Coupon Production, Labels for Education, Package Design, POS Displays, Print, Premiums, Pre-press, Shopper Marketing and Sales. Primary Responsibilities: + Assisting the Procurement Management to drive strategic alignment with Internal Business Partners to grow company's business through the selection and development of strategic supplier relationships that deliver a competitive advantage in total value and innovation. + Provide support to procurement through information acquisition, data analysis, opportunity identification, benchmarking, and best practice identification to drive continuous improvement. + Designing and implementing strategies for maximizing the value achieved for business partners. + Metrics reporting, process improvement and deployment, departmental support and creation of summary reports regarding industry, supplier and commodity profiles. + Act as the liaison to link operating companies' objectives with the overall corporate sourcing strategies. + Act as the organizational representative in dealing with key internal stakeholders, Campbell's business units, and external Marketing suppliers. + Assist in the development of the Consumer Promotions category and supplier strategies for the organization, incorporating key business and strategic sourcing strategies. + Assists with the functions and performance via the Consumer Promotions category team. + Participates as a vital member on this team in the establishment of a framework to obtain best price, best practices and impact innovations. + Accountable for driving revenue enablement through leading the development of Marketing supplier enabled innovation (SEI) program, strategic Marketing category development, supply market business intelligence, and needs identification within the Marketing organizations' objectives, goals, strategies and measures. + Assist in the development of Consumer Promotion procurement strategies that will drive measurable improvements in the areas of customer satisfaction, compliance and cost benefits. + Negotiates Marketing Agreements such as Master Service Agreements and annual Statements of Work/Staffing Plans through collaboration with Campbell's legal counsel and Marketing. + Responsible for development, maintenance and timely publication of all procurement metrics to internal customers related to the Consumer Promotions Category, including CIP's, Supplier Diversity spend, contracted suppliers, competitive value, competitive cost, supplier enabled innovation (SEI), spend under contract and delivered value, analysis/spend dynamic and strategies. + Participate in and lead where appropriate the Marketing strategic 'Supplier Relationship Management' program for the Consumer Promotions Category, including, opportunity assessment, external supply intelligence, identification, negotiation, planning/start up, development, top to top strategic management and contract execution & management. + Assist in achieving and delivering Supplier Diversity goals and initiatives for the Consumer Promotions Category, as well as assist in the awareness of Supplier Diversity across the Marketing organizations. Job Complexity: + Must have the ability to interact with team members at all levels in the organization, as well as senior leadership across multiple functions. + Must have the ability influence the direction of the business and align and engage resources that are outside their area of responsibility. + Must have solid influencing skills to ensure team success. + Must demonstrate strategic thought leadership in moving Procurement strategies forward with respect to the indirect category. Minimum Requirements: + Bachelor's Degree required with a strong preference in Marketing, Finance, or Procurement. MBA preferred. + Minimum of 4-6 years' experience in Procurement of Marketing Services or related experience. + CPM certification strongly desired. + Minimum 20% travel required. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: + Demonstrated track record of business results in a matrix environment and/or with multiple companies. + Demonstrated track record of talent management, people development and resources management. + Cross company and/or cross matrix experience working in managing large complex projects. + Demonstrated self-starter, imaginative/innovator, and able to set executive direction. + Work without direction and determine own methods to accomplish work. + Strong written and oral communication skills, decision making/problem solving and influencing and team building skills. + Must have strong analytical skill set. + Strong experience in procurement, finance and contracts (legal).
