A Special Education teaching opportunity is available for the Extended School Year (ESY) session from June 23 to July 31, 2026, serving K-12 students in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. This part-time position (26 hours per week, Monday through Thursday, 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM) involves itinerant work across several approved schools within the county. The exact school placement will be determined based on district need and candidate location. Responsibilities include: - Providing specialized instruction and support tailored to students with disabilities across various grade levels - Collaborating with school staff and families to implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) - Monitoring and documenting student progress throughout the ESY program - Adapting teaching methods and materials to meet diverse learning needs - Participating in team meetings and professional development as required Qualifications: - Current Pennsylvania certification in Special Education is mandatory - Candidates holding an Emergency Permit must be actively enrolled in a certification program - Proof of active licensure or emergency permit with program enrollment is required for consideration - Experience working within a K-12 educational setting is preferred - Strong communication and organizational skills are essential Worksites include Cecelia Snyder Middle School, Strayer Middle School, Everitt School, Pearl Buck Elementary School, and potentially Fallsington Elementary School pending district approval.
