responsibility for managing the digital transformation streams
within the company. This includes Cloud Data Warehouse, Data
Reporting, and Data Science.Responsibilities:As the Data
Engineering Practice Lead, you will be responsible for leading the
Cloud Data Warehouse, Data Reporting, and Data Science team that
allows the USCS business to be a data driven decision making
organization. In this position, you will work to enable a more
data-integrated business by delivering operational software to
create a more agile, automated system. This position will have
direct reports as well as offshore partners, you will be
responsible for maintaining a relationship with them and keeping
them on track with their current and future projects.Additional
specific job duties include:Creating and managing a strategy and
implementation project roadmap, including managing a pipeline of
analytics requirements and through governance, agreeing on the
priority of these for the available resources.Establish
relationships with the businesses to meet operational and analytics
needs of the organization.Collaborate across business units with
stakeholders, providing thought leadership and drive the day-to-day
implementation of our analytics strategy.Interface with business
technology and analytics communities both within and outside the
company to rollout company initiatives that have information
management components and engagements with third-party data
providers.Lead data governance and data quality frameworks to
ensure compliance with enterprise and regulatory guidelines.Manage
core data management processes and develop KRIs (key risk
indicators), controls, service-level agreements around business use
of information (e.g. time-to-market metrics, data quality, security
classification, glossary, approvals for data access,
retention);Assign and review the work of system analysts, software
programmers, and application developersDevelop computer information
resources, providing data security and control, strategic
computing, and disaster recovery.Administer Snowflake, manage the
delivery of Power BI reports, approve the design and drive the
implementation process for data science rollouts.Evaluate ROI for
each data science project.Coordinate with external customers on
their data needs and work with internal security team for any
internal and customer specific data sharing demands.Gather
requirements for all digital transformation streams.Approve
invoices for vendors and work with the procurement team on new work
streams and SoWs.Participate in budget planning and keep a track of
the approved budgets and provide justification for additional
budgets.Handle escalation from all departments within the digital
engineering practice.The Job Specifics:Location and Department:

ideal candidate will have or be able to complete the below
qualifications.EducationBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer
Science/Data Science or equivalent experience.Experience5+ years of
hands-on experience on complex queries, data analytics, ETL tools
(Informatica), data science programmingExperience in leading data
engineering teams.Experience with Supply Chain or Logistics is a
plus.Experience in Snowflake.Experience with Azure Cloud and Azure
Data Factory.Experience in Power BI.Experience with Machine
