The Hybrid Cloud Windows and LINUX Infrastructure Platforms Engineer will define and optimize the use of Windows, LINUX, and virtualization technologies throughout Campbell Soup's Cloud and global Data Center operations. You will work closely with Campbell's outsourcing partners, Campbell's Service Managers, vendors, and the Campbell's IT team to build and maintain a technical roadmap that drives operational excellence improving our service offerings while optimizing the IT operational spend. You will also be responsible to ensure that the day-to-day services provided by our outsourcing partners are delivered in a quality manner meeting or exceeding all service levels. This is a challenging role requiring a combination of technical and analytic skills together with the ability to drive problems to resolution by taking the lead thru effective communications and aligning the internal and external partners to deliver the results our business needs to succeed. Essential responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Drive operational excellence and improvements for the Windows, LINUX, Virtual, Storage and Cloud technologies.
  • Responsible for delivering a standard technical architecture which will be resilient and cost effective for our Hybrid Cloud operations, including developing our future roadmaps and new service offerings with a focus on DevSecOps
  • Responsible for all Service Partners operations ensuring all service levels are exceeded.
  • Maintain and provide technical oversight and adherence to all Service Management disciplines.
  • Owns all Sev1's for their service area including resolving to the Root Cause.
  • Observes strict compliance to SOX's and internal IT controls.
  • Owns the day-to-day relationship and activities between Infrastructure and Operations team and our internal and external IT customers. Solutions IT projects for the Cloud and Data center ensuring all service requests are fulfilled, meeting our operational standards and availability requirements.
  • Ensuring we have secure and up to date Cloud and Datacenter environments that are protected from Hardware and Operating Systems vulnerabilities and attacks.
  • Owns all refresh projects for the Hybrid Clouds ensuring we do not carry any technical debt that puts our environment or business at risk ensuring complete Value Protection. Job Complexity:
    • Provides senior level technical & architectural leadership for their respective service area.
    • Responsible for technical architecture framework and defines new architectural standards.
    • Analyzes emerging Cloud technologies and determines how it can be used at Campbell's.
    • Proactively optimizes the total cost of ownership for the Hybrid Cloud.
    • Responsible for innovating the platform to meet new service needs.
    • Aligns the service strategy and roadmaps for the Hybrid Cloud with delivery and security strategies.
    • Engages with vendor management to ensure that statements of work are in place for new services.
    • Ensures that managed service providers are actively engaged in all relevant aspects for the service introduction and transforms operational processes.
    • Define standards for their service area and ensures adherence.
    • Leverages service metrics to optimize the day-to-day service delivery for the Hybrid Cloud.
    • Drives new service development initiatives and/or improvements focusing on removing technical debt.
    • Ensure services are delivered optimally and consistently across the Campbell environment.
    • Escalation points for incident and problem management to drive all change management processes. We are looking for the following abilities and skills:
      • Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree required preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology or related.
      • Minimum Experience: 5+ years of related IT work experience in Cloud and Data center infrastructure/systems environments focused on planning, architectural design, engineering, optimization, automation cost management and operational support.
      • Certifications: VMWare, Azure, LINUX, and Windows are all preferred but not required
      • Additional Skills Preferred: Virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V), Hyper-Converged technologies, Microsoft Azure, Citrix, Automation tools like ansible and network segmentation tools like Guardicore are a plus.
      • Excellent verbal and written documentation skills.
      • Travel of up to 5% of the time is required for this role.
