aviation vision, this is the job for you! -Identity and Access
Management (IAM) is a Public Key Infrastructure used to support
strong authentication between systems communicating in the NAS. The
system consists of commercial and developed software as well as
specialized networking and cryptography hardware that are
integrated into a highly reliable, high performance set of services
for creating, managing, and validating X.509 credentials. These
credentials are used to support authentication as well as other
cryptographic needs of the NAS, including digital signature,
non-repudiation, and encryption. -The Systems Administrator for
Identity and Access Management supports the analysis, planning,
design, implementation, test and evaluation of current and future
IAM capabilities. - This includes PKI, certificate and identity
management, IAM capacity expansion, and enterprise authorization.
Works with the IAM development team to plan, document, and test IAM
and report results. Upgrades IAM infrastructure and integrates
up-to-date COTS to support technology refresh and migration to
newer technologies. Works with the support organization to test and
deploy IAM to test and operational environments. Works with the IAM
development lab manager to evaluate the security posture of IAM and
take corrective action. Supports operational hardware,
virtualization, and network infrastructure. Recommends development
and design changes to improve quality of products and/or
procedures. Supports software development, system builds and
deployments to test and operational environments.Work Location:
William J. Hughes Technical Center, Atlantic City, NJDuties will
include, but are not limited to:- Support the ongoing design,
development, deployment, and maintenance of IAM, including:-
Develop test plans, procedures, and reports to evaluate the
functional capabilities, availability, security posture,
deployment, and other aspects of the IAM system- Work in an Agile
environment to support design, development, test, and deployment
IAM Phase 2 and beyond- Support maintenance and upgrades of IAM
deployment automation using Ansible- Develop scripts, software,
data sets, and other assets required to fully evaluate the IAM
system- Support migration of IAM to Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8-
Support deployment and upgrades to F5 GTM /LTM devices- Review and
develop documentation to include, but not limited to: requirements
documents, interface description documents, training material,
technical instruction material, maintenance plans- Prepare and
review program technical documentation- Experience with all areas
of certificates and implementation & operation of PKI.- Experience
with Key Management and Certificate enrollment/revocation
processes.- Experience with Certificate Management tools such as
Keyfactor, Venafi- Fluency in security & encryption terminology
Qualifications:
Required minimum skills and knowledge:Bachelors degree in EE,
Computer Science, or related field and 9+ years of
experienceSystems administration experience with Linux,
VMWareFamiliarity with PKI concepts and implementationsExperience
working in an Agile and/or DevOps development environmentExperience
in the use of Git, SVN, and/or other configuration management
softwareStrong analytical skillsDesired skills and
knowledge:Experience with supporting systems in the FAA
NASNetworking experience in FAA domains, including FNTB, OPIP, and
NESGSoftware development using Java EE, Python, PHP, and other
languagesExperience with standard authentication protocols and
frameworks such as SAML, OAuth 2.0 and OIDC.Experience with LDAP,
and X.500 directory servicesExperience with F5 Networks Load
BalancersExperience with PKI Certificate Lifecycle?
Client Engagement:
--- Begin developing relationships one level up and two levels
down. Identify and support opportunities to expand project scope
beyond current deliverable and actively share information about
clients' emerging support needs and trends with team members and
management.
