Outdoor Experience Specialist/Camp Director position!
This is a full-time position that is responsible for leading and
overseeing educational, year-round outdoor programming for camp
members. This role will manage the recruitment, interviewing,
hiring, supervising, and evaluating of staff and volunteers who
assist in providing outdoor experiences.

Core Responsibilities Include:
Plans, delivers, and implements the Girl Scout National Outdoor
Develops programming that is age appropriate, fun, and
Works with Camp Ranger to ensure camp property meets cleanliness
and readiness standards.
Coordinates weekend activities and communicates schedules with both
staff and participants.
Provides support and training to volunteers/troop leaders so they
can deliver quality Girl Scout Programming.
Works with Camp Business Manager to design and implement summer
resident and day camp experiences that complement and reinforce the
mission of Girl Scouts.
Retains and recruits parents, campers, and staff through personal
calls, mailing, tours, events, etc.
Oversees spending to stay within budgetary requirements.
Education, Experience, and Skill Requirements: Bachelor's degree
(Education, Recreation Management, Business) preferred
2+ years administrative or supervisory experience in an organized
Technical computer skills in G-Suite required.
Knowledge of American Camp Association guidelines and local and
state regulations preferred.
Position requires frequent evenings and weekends.
During summer camp (June - August), this role will be expected to
reside, overnight, at camp.
Reliable transportation for travel within geographic region - valid
driver's license required.
Occasional lifting up to 30 pounds.
