management related to all managed services that Comcast provides
for partners, some in US some in Canada and some in Europe- Wanting
to build a team to 24/7 365 support for all the different partners
and within all the different time zones- Any syndication partner
can open an incident case, this is then working to resolve the
issues; there are also higher severity incidents with major
outages, also mid-tier severity, facilitate calls with engineering
teams to resolve as quickly as possible. Looking for Background in
related fields: - Worked well are former systems admins (windows or
Linux), network engineers or those with helpdesk- Those with
technical aptitude with understanding on modern cloud technology
and systems administrations works- Most importantly must be able to
learn new things- Shift - normally 9-5p but flex 7-3; M-F EST- On
call rotation once every couple of months Top skills1. Must have
ability to learn2. Soft skills like working well in team
environment and collaborative environment- ServiceNow ticketing and
Jira ticketing used, plus to have but not mandatorydoesn't have to
have incident management background, most importantly needs to have
the technical aptitude in network engineering/ systems
administration, etc. Crucial part of the Production Support team
which is responsible for managing incidents for new and existing
Products. This incident manager is responsible for ensuring that
all incidents are identified, triaged and resolved within SLA
guidelines. Additionally, this position will be responsible for
ensuring that all root-cause analysis is documented for high
severity incidents and delivered to the respective Product owners.
This position will interface with various operations teams to bring
quickly and timely resolutions to incidents. Work is performed in a
24/7 operations environment. Must be available to work weekends and
holidays on an on call basis. Bachelor's degree in Computer
Science, Engineering, Business or related field or equivalent work
experience is required. Typically has 3+ years of tech industry
and/or work experience in Customer Service, Incident and Problem
