SummaryThe Brand Manager, Chain Restaurants is responsible for
setting brand strategy, delivering expected sales and profit
targets, and leading the cross-functional team for our growing
restaurant businesses. In this role, the Brand Manager will explore
growth opportunities with key customers, lead in the development
and execution of strategic marketing plans; independently manage
volume forecasting, launch new custom products, and manage and
prioritize projects as part of an internal multifunctional team
(R&D, Insights & Innovation, Finance, Procurement, Government
Regulations, Supply Chain).In close partnership with the national
and regional sales team, the Brand Manager will foster direct
relationships with external customer teams (Customer, Insights,
Sales Planning & Strategy). This position will require close client
interaction and collaboration with executives at key foodservice
customers.Primary ResponsibilitiesCustomer Strategy: Lead
competitive category strategies of the chain business segment -
conduct an insightful opportunity landscape in identifying growth
drivers to influence sales strategy. Connect longer-term strategic
vision with evolving marketplace conditions helping our key
customers understand how and when to respond and evolve with their
consumers. Lead the 3-year (Strategic Plan) and 1-year (Annual
Operating Plan) goals for Chain Accounts as part of the Total US
Plan.Insights into Action: Critical to this role includes crafting
and advancing actionable insights into demand drivers relevant to
our national and regional customers and their environment. In
partnership with the sales team, co-develop targeted selling
propositions utilizing consumer, category, and competitive
insights. Develop an in-depth and on-going analysis of sales trends
by product line, distributor, sales region and financial impact to
determine opportunities to grow topline and profit.Customer
Planning and Delivery: Lead all aspects of customer development for
national and regional chain business inclusive of vetting custom
development for sales opportunities via stage gate, P&L
management, commercialization, and volume forecasting. Close
collaboration with R&D, finance, procurement, and supply chain
is critical.Job ComplexityThis position will require the ability to
thrive in an entrepreneurial environment, set a clear strategic
direction with a bias towards action. The role will require strong
communication skills, both written and verbal, to keep other
functional areas apprised of and aligned to business priorities.
The position requires an ability to collaborate with Sales,
R&D, Supply Chain, Customer Insights, and Innovation to
determine how to strategically grow the business and execute with
excellence. Requires ability to drive strategic thought leadership
with customer executive leadership teams. Requires a strong leader
that can build relationships with senior management and many key
customers.Minimum RequirementsBachelor's degree required; MBA
PreferredMinimum 6 years of marketing or sales experience
requiredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities DesiredProven Foodservice
Business AcumenDemonstrated strong Project Management and
Communication SkillsStrong command and executive presence, high EQ
and relationship building internally & externally.Ability to lead
cross functional teams and projects, develop marketing strategy and
plans, conducting custom research and manage P&L.Working
ConditionsThis position is based in World Headquarters. Up to 20 -
