We recognize that people with diverse backgrounds, experiences and perspectives fuel our growth and enrich our global culture.We are looking for an individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced, team oriented environment, likes to be challenged, and values the opportunity to make a difference.Job Description:As the Senior Manager of Shopper Strategy, you will drive key strategic thinking and partnership with senior leaders across Sales, Integrated Insights, and Top Retailer Partners. -The Senior Manager of Shopper Strategy is a key member of the Category & Shopper Strategy Team and reports to the Director, Category & Shopper Strategy for the Meals and Beverage Division. - You will work across all parts of the $4B+ Meals and Beverage division including Soup, Broth, Italian Sauce, Mexican Sauce, and Beverage (Juice and Plant Based Milks) supporting iconic brands like Campbell's Soup, Pacific, Swanson, Pace, Prego, V8, and more. When necessary, this role partners with cross-functional counterparts in the Campbell's Snacks organization working collaboratively on enterprise-wide insights projects.Responsibilities:

  • Partners with Shopper Insights team, Integrated Insights team and field sales to drive more actionable recommendations and development of divisional and category strategy.
  • Serves as connection point with Integrated Insights team to understand all key project workstreams driving deeper application across Sales teams and serve as an advisor (when needed).
  • Identifies strategic Sales-based hypotheses and dig sites for the Insights team informing learning plan development and project prioritization in partnership with Shopper Insights that can be scaled and applied at top customer.
  • Responsible for curating and applying insights from syndicated and custom sources to create selling materials or customer facing content on current, relevant topics at the macro and customer level.
  • Assists with synthesis of insights to support Selling Materials leveraging all insights available from Integrated Insights team and syndicated work.
  • Partners with Category Leadership on customized meeting content for top customers, as needed
  • Co-leads customer team insight to action meetings with Shopper Insights by setting success criteria, strategy and developing application with the sales team.
  • Leads and owns shelving research, both qualitative and quantitative, needed by the Category Strategy Team to support Shelving Fundamentals, Principles by Category, and Future of Vision.
  • Key partner in development of insights and relevant topics to share at JBP, Top to Top, Industry events (FMI, Investor Day, etc).
  • Integrates of eCommerce insights and marketplace dynamics to shape omni-focused strategies for the Meals & Beverage division.
  • Presents thought leadership internally to the Meals & Beverage Sales team(s) and externally to key retailer partners.
  • Works closely with Channels Marketing, Sales Strategy, and Category Strategy to shape strategic direction for assortment and shelving for Small Format customers.
  • Manages relationship with multiple contracted research vendors and responsible for identification of vendors for ad-hoc projects in partnership with Integrated Insights.Job Complexity:
    • Works with many cross-functional groups; Marketing, Insights, HQ Sales, and Customer Teams
    • Understands the unique characteristics and challenges of various retail channels and their implications and opportunities for relevant categories
    • Ability to integrate disparate data sources into a cohesive story and recommendation
    • Comfortable presenting often in small and large settings
    • Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneouslyMinimum Requirements:
      • Bachelor's degree, with preference for MBA/advanced degree
      • 7-10 years research and/or data analysis experience
      • Professional experience within CPG, customer facing preferred
      • Experience with qualitative and quantitative data, research techniques, and analysis
