Apply today!Director of Demand ManagementThe Director, Demand Management provides executive leadership for all aspects of our demand management process, including ownership of the item/location forecast process and the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Demand Review step, in support of Annual Operating Planning for the business. This position will play a critical role in working cross-functionally to refine a rolling 24-month volume and financial business projection, surfacing any gaps and working with business partners to develop effective counter measures. This position will drive consensus and collaboration between key partners including Sales, Marketing, and Finance, as well as Supply Chain partners including Supply, Capacity, Materials, Procurement, and Commercialization teams, to ultimately achieve world class forecast metrics and resulting service, cost, and inventory plans. The role will lead a team of
10-15 employees and be responsible for driving the overall engagement and development of the team as well as be a key contributor to the broader Supply Chain Planning organization.Primary Responsibility:Leads the Demand step of the Integrated Business Planning (IBP).Identify constraints, risks & opportunities associated with demand across the Division; provide recommendations and guidance of tradeoffs for effective decision making by P&L owner.Delivers the monthly forecasts: monitors forecast metrics and advises adjustments to models and market intelligence accordingly.Aggregate market intelligence (new items, customer events, pricing actions, competitive insights, discontinued items) from cross functional participants and leverages judgement and influence to improve forecasts accordingly.Supports the development of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP)Ensures a reasonable and effective plan is in place to link all key sources including Marketing, Sales, Supply and Finance stakeholders.Complexity:Requires initiative to independently interpret business direction, understand any capital constraints and help to create alignment between the business and functions around priorities of initiatives.Significant cross functional interaction.Financial acumen (e.g., to understand inputs / variances to demand plan).Ability to articulate and influence stakeholders.Education:BA/BS in Business, Operations, or other technical field. Education desired: MBAMinimum 10-15 years of relevant Supply Chain experienceCompensation and Benefits:The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between$125,500-$209,300Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training.
