BCforward is currently seeking highly motivated Project Manager -- Jersey City, NJ Job Title: Project Manager Location: Jersey City, NJ Duration: 12 months Contract Job Description Competencies: Knowledge and Skills: * Highly motivated with a strong attention and willingness to get into detail * Experience with working on projects with stakeholders from different parts of the enterprise * Excellent writing and analytical skills, has developed presentations that have been presented to management with minimal edits required * Ability to interact and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Demonstrated ability to assess issues through root cause analysis and other analytical techniques; and structure potential solutions * Ability to understand risk-reward, provide diplomatic challenge to stakeholders, and escalate issues when appropriate * Strong process mapping skills * Ability to effectively assess and manage competing priorities to deliver high quality and timely work * Comfort navigating complex, highly-matrixed organizations * Comfortable acting as an agent for positive change with agility and flexibility * Team oriented and organized * Subject matter expertise in area of focus Qualifications: * 6-10 year's experience in financial services, consulting, or technology * Project management and governance experience with demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed critical milestones. * Strong plus if one has experience with regulatory or consent order type of projects, or audit, not a must * Proficient in Powerpoint and excel Education: * Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Masters degree * Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, preferred About BCforward: BCforward began as an IT business solution and staffing firm.
