Job Title : Junior Project Manager- Entry Level

Position Overview: An entry-level project manager plays a crucial role in assisting and supporting the successful execution of various projects within an organization. This role involves coordinating project activities, communicating with team members and stakeholders, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. While this position is entry-level, it offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in project management and develop key skills for a successful career in this field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning:
  • Assist in defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Help create project plans, schedules, and timelines.
  • Collaborate with senior project managers to establish project goals and priorities.
  • Team Coordination:
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals.
    • Coordinate team meetings, distribute agendas, and track action items.
    • Support in assigning tasks and responsibilities to team members.
    • Documentation and Reporting:
      • Maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes.
      • Assist in the preparation of progress reports and presentations for project stakeholders.
      • Track project expenses and assist with budget management.
      • Risk and Issue Management:
        • Identify and document project risks and issues.
        • Work with senior project managers to develop mitigation strategies.
        • Monitor and report on the status of risk and issue resolution.
        • Quality Control:
          • Ensure that project deliverables meet established quality standards.
          • Conduct quality assurance checks and document any deviations.
          • Assist in implementing quality improvement processes.
          • Communication:
            • Maintain open and clear communication with project team members and stakeholders.
            • Act as a point of contact for project-related inquiries.
            • Help in facilitating effective communication among project stakeholders.
            • Administrative Support:
              • Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, managing project files, and organizing project-related materials.
              • Assist in resource allocation and tracking. Qualifications:
                • Bachelor's degree in business, project management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
                • Two years experience managing projects
                • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
                • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
                • Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Trello, Asana).
                • Basic understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
                • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to changing priorities.
                • Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of project management.
