JobsRUs.com. is seeking to hire a Project Manager for our client
in Camden, NJ!
Standard hours - Monday to Fri 8-5 but since the sites are
DCs...they may need to coordinate cut over activities over the
weekends and at off peaks hours
Job Summary: Maintains information technology strategies by
managing staff; researching and implementing technological
Primary Responsibilities: Maintains organizations effectiveness and
efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans
for implementing information technologies. Directs technological
research by studying organization goals, strategies, practices, and
user projects. Completes projects by coordinating resources and
timetables with user departments and data center. Verifies
application results by conducting system audits of technologies
implemented. Preserves assets by implementing disaster recovery and
back-up procedures and information security and control structures.
Recommends information technology strategies, policies, and
procedures by evaluating organization outcomes; identifying
problems; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements.
Accomplishes financial objectives by forecasting requirements;
preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing
variances; initiating corrective action. Maintains quality service
by establishing and enforcing organization standards. Maintains
professional and technical knowledge by staying current on
state-of-the-art practices. Contributes to team effort by
accomplishing related results as needed.
Qualifications: Degree in Computer Science, Business Management,
Business Administration, or other related discipline Experience in
the IT industry, including development work and customer
interaction PMP Certification
As a Project Manager, you will be accountable for overseeing and
managing the key deliverables across a project lifecycle. This
includes all deliverables related to Initiating, Planning,
Executing and Closing a project.
Essential Job Functions (includes but is not limited to):
Be the primary representative and work closely with project
stakeholders to set the expectations and act as a liaison during
the entire course of project.
Develop clear program plans with all necessary functional areas
(including project schedule, budget, project scope, etc.).
Manage the budget of project throughout its lifecycle; update and
publish monthly forecasting, actuals, and benefits.
Work with all functional managers throughout project to define and
monitor resource requirements/constraints and communicate/resolve
Hold project kick-off meeting to review specifications, schedule
and team roles and responsibilities.
Collect and analyze performance metrics and draft contract
deliverables according to contract requirements.
Participate and present in program management reviews and quarterly
Hold regular project meetings with the project team to monitor
project execution, control project scope, schedule and budget and
Facilitate project team's navigation through companys program
delivery methodology and enforce gate checklists completion
Hold regular status meetings with Program Management Office
leadership and executive management.
Properly close the project, including completion of the delivery to
operations handoff checklist and holding a project close meeting
with the team.
5 plus years professional experience including three years in
project/program management in a customer facing role.
Extensive project management experience in leading cross-functional
teams with complex projects.
Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to
manage a geographically distributed or matrix team.
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities
Excellent internal and external written and verbal communication
Strong proficiency in MS Office applications including MS Project,
Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
Demonstrated successful track record delivering projects across
different functional areas.
Ability to collaborate with and manage vendors.
PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
Implementation Project - SAP Warehouse Management and an SAP Voice
picking solution -
Standard PM skill sets, project scheduling, project scheduling
management, task completion follow up
If they understand SAP WM - will be very beneficial in the job!
Standard PM tool set in SAP - they can then create the POs in SAP
for the business - willing to train on that piece
SAP knowledge is also beneficial but not a requirement...
