Apply today!This leader will serve as a business partner to the Category Lead on all financial matters for the Soup and Broth category. Leading the integrated development and coordination of strategies as well as financial objectives across the portfolio, this finance lead will manage the category P&L from end to end. This individual will be responsible for driving strong financial performance for the category through high-quality decision support, sales and margin management, and thoughtful insight and perspective to help deliver strategic category plans, annual operating plans, and financial projection objectives. This finance partner will conduct financial analysis and modeling for major business initiatives, including financial impacts of capital investments. The Soup Director of Brand Finance will help lead the cross functional team, bringing insight and financial expertise to all discussions and acting as financial advisor to the Senior Vice President of the category. Principal Responsibilities Annual financial planning and target settingDesign & execute strategic financial plans for businessOversee financial forecasting, evaluation, budget analysisOwn consolidated dashboard of financials for categoryDrive Strategic and Annual Operating Planning to meet top-down targets3-year, annual and quarterly brand financial plan ownershipMonitor and analyze financial performance; provide insights around ongoing financial performance, trends, KPI, R&OsDrive variance analysis; partner with Supply Chain & Sales to mitigate variance against budgetBusiness management and ownershipProvide full end-to-end P&L visibility and risk managementIdentify initiatives to improve brands' gross margin, ensuring optimal efficiency and resource utilizationAllocation of SG&A within the categoryStrategic initiative supportEvaluate major business ventures and financial feasibility; oversee all category related capital allocationLead interactions with M&B Planning and Analytics teamLead financial analysis of innovations within the categoryInternal Reporting for category including monthly and quarterly business updates, forecasts and analysisCross-functional leadership and supportEngage proactively with category leadership to offer financial insights & manage overall P&LCollaborate with broader finance team (including Supply Chain and Sales leads) to drive alignment and synergy in broader financial strategiesActively participate in IBP processes, contributing financial expertise to cross-functional planningDrive coordination with Sales and Supply Chain Finance teamsMinimum Requirements 15+ years financial or operational analysis experienceBachelors Degree in finance or related disciplinePreferred RequirementsMBA or CPA preferredCPG related experience with some Brand experienceLeadership experienceOther RequirementsHighly motivated individual with proven track record of ability to positively impact business resultsExperience in a highly matrixed organizationExcellent verbal and written communication skills requiredOutstanding analytical abilities and strong interpersonal skills requiredExceptional interpersonal skills & ability to build strong business partnershipsExceptional communication & presentation skills to a senior leadership audienceCompensation and Benefits:The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between$125,500-$209,300Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
