Apply today!As a key member of the Beverage Category leadership team, you will be responsible for bringing the vision for the V8 portfolio to life. You will be the Marketing Lead for the Beverage business, and be tasked with developing and delivering the Annual Operating Plan P&L commitments on the Campbell's Beverage portfolio, which includes V8 Original, V8+ Energy, V8 Blends, V8 Splash and Campbell's Tomato Juice. You will coach and develop a team of marketers with diverse experiences, ranging from Senior Manager through Coordinator. In addition, you will demonstrate strategic, creative and critical thinking in developing business and marketing plans, making the best use of each dollar invested and efficiently using available resources to meet the business's goals. Intellectual curiosity, openness to finding creative solutions, and an optimistic "can do" attitude will distinguish you as a leader driving success for this business.Primary Responsibilities:Help guide the vision for the portfolio, working with Insights to bring a consumer-first approach to the businessDevelop and execute against the Annual Operating Plan financial and volumecommitments in partnership with category Sales Strategy and Finance teams,amongst othersForecast demand and managing delivery of all aspects of the businessDevelop and commercialize new platforms, brand line extensions, quality andcost improvements, and commercial innovation, all grounded in deep andrelevant consumer insightsPartner with the Integrated Marketing / Consumer Experience team tounderstand the performance and ROI of all marketing levers and optimizinginvestments throughout the course of the yearDeliver against the core brand positioning and vision by developing appropriateannual marketing and close-in product innovation plansIn partnership with Demand Planning and Sales, generate monthly consumptionand demand forecastsSet marketing budgets and deliver P&L target Net Sales, Gross Margin andMarketing Contribution consistent with the group's overall financial commitmentsto the Company's growth agendaIdentify untapped areas of demand within core category/segments to generatenew product or commercial innovation ideas and commercialize them, includingselling strategy, communications idea development and executional planning inpartnership with Insights, Customer Marketing and Sales teamwideOrganizational development, including management and day-to-day coaching ofa Senior Brand Manager and Brand Manager, along with their three direct reportsProvide thought leadership to inspire greatness, divergent thinking, and ongoinginspiration for business building product and marketing ideasAct as a business partner to your cross-functional peersJob Complexity:The Director, M&B Marketing - Beverage will need to have the strategic ingenuityto mine and identify distinctive and meaningful insights in a category segment that define business and brand strategy, product and commercial innovation,brand activation and overall business operationsAbility to partner with Brand Marketers and specialists across the divisional Marketing disciplines to coordinate business and brand plans that generate demand while delivering against the division's P&L commitmentsCollaboration across functions and with external agency partners required to generate and commercialize new products, product renovations, convincing category and selling strategies, brand activationCuriosity and an interest in evolving consumer needs, and an ability to "connect the dots" from multiple sources of consumer and competitive research and trends as well as a deep understanding of competitive marketplace dynamicsSupport brand and category strategy work beyond the assigned segment as neededCreate and drive alignment to brand and category strategic and annual operating plansA willingness not only to learn but to teach and bring fresh thinking to the team as we seek to continually improve our knowledge, skills, and processes in the dynamic and competitive food industryMinimum Requirements:Bachelor's Degree required. MBA strongly preferredMinimum 10 years of product/brand marketing experienceFood and beverage experience strongly desired - beverage specific experience is a plusStrategic thinking ability and creative talent to bring breakthrough ideas to marketStrong analytic capability and project management skillsStrong interpersonal and communication skills: highly collaborative with ability to build solid working partnerships across functional groupsA resilient leader with a strong drive for resultsCompensation and Benefits:The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between$125,500-$209,300Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
