MAJOR FUNCTION: Performs diagnostic radiographic examinations as
prescribed by a licensed physician or chiropractor utilizing
radiation producing equipment within established departmental
guidelines serving neonate, pediatric, adult and geriatric
A. Education: AMA approved, accredited program in Radiologic
B. Experience: Experience preferred but new graduates are
C. Certification/Licensure: New Jersey License required. Radiologic
Technologist Registry (ARRT) preferred and CPR certified
D. Physical Requirements:Prolonged, extensive or considerable
standing and walking. Lifts, positions, pushes and/or transfers
patients. Lifts supplies and equipment. Subject to potential
electrical and radiation hazards
