-Assists interventionalists in all procedures within the scope of
interventional Radiology and Vascular surgery to include but not
limited to oncology, vascular and trauma. -Skill set must be
maintained to handle supplies/instrumentation associated with
interventional procedures. - Must be able to assist physicans in
the capacity of both a scrub and circulating technologist.Maintains
work area: Reports maintenance issues for equipment, monitors
supplies and deficiencies. - Adheres to all Infection Prevention
prolicies, utilizing the appropriate PPE needed. -Maintains
licensure and BLS. - Stays current and participates departmental
training offered. -Demonstrates courteous behavior, positive
attitude, etc. through polite communication with all co-
workers/customers.Understands and appreciates the need to provide
good customer service, both internal and external.Participates in
clinical activities (i.e. assists with patient flow/care, helps to
optimize throughput of patients via Radiology Transport).Remains
compliant of timekeeping rules: Avoids early, late and unauthorized
entries. A Adheres to Departmental procedures, fulfills compliance
with life safety, fire and hazardous waste, Radiation Safety, and
Infection Prevention requirements. -Attends staff meetings and
reviews daily huddles to keep current on department
communications.. - - - - - Experience Required2 years or Medical
Radiography School. 1-2 years or Cardiovascular Interventional
Technology School.3 years or more General Training.1-4 years
Angio.Education RequirementsAssociates Degree RT or RT (CV),
Bachelor's Degree preferredLicense/Certification
RequirementsCurrent BLS.Current ARRT - American Registry Radiology
Tech License.Current NJ-RADTECH - NJ Radiology Tech LicenseSpecial
RequirementsScheduled Days / Hours: 3 12 hr shifts with on call;
License (or Certification):ARRT Required; License (or
Certification):BLS Required; License (or Certification):NJ-RADTECH
