explain the job's overall objective: - - -Directs daily activities
within the department. - - - -Facilitates employee orientation and
training. - - - -Performs area specific QA/QC procedures. - - -
-Performs radiographic procedures in accordance with the ALARA
concept. - - - -Assists physicians with radiographic procedures. -
- -Performs various operations using radiographic and associated
equipment. - - - - -Assures maintenance of all radiographic and
associated equipment. - - - - - -Maintains patient records via
appropriate system. - - - -Performs patient care functions in a
safe environment. - - - -Adheres to hospital and departmental
policies and procedures. - - - -Substantiates status of good
standing with state and national licensing/credentialing - - -
-agencies by the submission of appropriate documentation. - - -
-Interacts effectively with all customers. - - - -Assists staff and
students in the performance of radiographic procedures and
associated - - - -duties. - - - -Participates in the evaluation of
staff and students as needed. - - - -Assists with the
transportation of patients, maintains work area and performs basic
clerical - - - -duties. - -Experience RequiredCertificate of
completion/Degree from an Accredited Radiograph Program.Minimum of
3 years clinical experience; biennial completion of minimum
required CE credits to maintain required
certification/accreditationEducation RequirementsHigh school
diploma or equivalent requiredLicense/Certification
RequirementsMust be licensed by the NJDEPE and credentialed in
radiograph and mammography by the ARRT.Current ARRT - American
Registry Radiology Tech License.Current NJ-RADTECH - NJ Radiology
Tech License.CPR certification.
