Job Description:
The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) oversees nursing
services to ensure compassionate, high-quality resident care,
working under the Director of Nursing (DON). Responsibilities
include supervising staff, ensuring adherence to care plans,
managing medications, and participating in quality improvement
initiatives. The role requires a current, active nursing license,
CPR/First Aid certification, and knowledge of assisted living
regulations. Strong organizational, leadership, and communication
skills are essential, with experience in long-term care or assisted
living preferred. Knowledge of dementia care is a plus. The

with on-call responsibilities.
