Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: OR - Operating Room - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Local Contract WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an Operating Room Nurse for a contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Jersey City, NJ. Job Function: /n - Night Shift. /n - 3x12: 7pm - 7:30am. /n - Records all care information concisely, accurately and completely, in a timely manner, in the facility EMR. /n - Preps operating room for patient/procedure and assists other staff in breaking down the room. /n - Assists in positioning, responding to comfort/safety of patient. /n - Provides for accurate care and handling of specimens. /n /n /n Job Requirements: /n - 2 years of Telemetry RN experience required. /n /n - Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN). /n /n - Current New York State RN license required. /n /n - BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association required. /n /n - Must have experience with Epic EMR. /n /n /nDisclosure: The hourly rates and/or salaries listed may or may not reflect total compensation packages including bonus and fringe benefits, etc., nor are the advertisement(s) posted a guarantee of a certain compensation package for a position or bona fide offer of employment.
