Adelphi is seeking a licensed and experienced Medical Doctor to serve as a School Physician for a 1-year contract term. Responsibilities: • Provide medical services in accordance with board policy and state regulations. • Conduct sports physicals for student athletes as required. • Collaborate with school staff to promote student health and well-being. • Document and make referrals for other medically necessary services. • Maintain medical records, document assessments, treatments, and referrals, ensuring the confidentiality and privacy of students' health information. • Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide appropriate care as needed. • Stay current with developments in the field of school medicine and ensure adherence to best practices. • Other duties as assigned by the administration.
