Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 12 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery Mullica Hill, NJ Guaranteed Hour: 36 Time Type: Nights 12 (18:45-7:15) (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM) Unit Description Overview: 20 patient rooms used as LDR and mom baby couplet rooms, 2 Ob ORs to circulate for c/sections, 3 OB ED rooms. Additional Information Experience Required 3 years of experience as a Labor & Delivery Nurse within the last 6 months Must have postpartum couplet care experience. Certification Required BLS NRP and ACLS *Certification may NOT have expiration within 30 days of start* Licensure Required NJ or Compact RN License *pending not accepted* Call off: Client may cancel (call-off) up to one (1) shift per two week period without paying for the cancelled hours. First day instructions(FDI): Failure to complete the full orientation will result in immediate termination. Once scheduled, candidates do not have the option to reschedule any classes. Candidates will receive an email directly from client the Friday before the Monday start, containing important information regarding the orientation. Instructions for signing on to the Virtual Welcome meeting and the online Health Stream Module from Human Resources will be sent prior to 8:30 AM on Monday. The Monday GEO will be conducted virtually from the candidate's own computer. All assigned Health Stream modules must be completed by Monday. Failure to do so will result in removal from the orientation list. In-person classes are typically held from Tuesday to Thursday in multiple locations. The specific location may not be listed in the original email; candidates are required to use Health Stream to determine the class location on the day of the class. The POCT class is mandatory and will not occur during orientation week. Candidates will receive a unit-based orientation schedule from their manager. Candidates will receive instructions on how to make an appointment to receive their ID badge in person. Photo submissions are not permitted, and obtaining the badge is required during orientation.
