Assists interventionalists in all procedures within the scope of
interventional radiology and vascular surgery, but not limited to
oncology, vascular and trauma. Skill set must be maintained to
handle supplies/instrumentation associated with interventional
procedures. Adheres to all infection prevention policies, utilizing
the appropriate PPE needed. Experience Required 0-2 years'
experience required. 3-5 years' experience preferred. Education
Requirements - High School/GED required. - Associate’s Degree
preferred. License/Certification Requirements AART required. NJDEP
required. BLS from AMA required. Special Requirements - Graduate of
AMA approved Radiology Technologist Program, NJ DEP license
required upon hire. - H.S. Diploma, Certificate of
Completion/Degree from accredited Radiology Program or Vascular
Program, associate degree preferred. - Communication – Ability to
communicate with patients, visitors and coworkers required. -
Operate fluoro unit along with all supporting equipment needed to
perform interventional procedures required.
