Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a
Labor and Delivery position at a Level III high-risk facility with
night shift and float requirements. Responsibilities - Work in a
Level III Labor and Delivery unit within a hospital setting - Care
for high-risk obstetric patients with the possibility of early
inductions and continuous monitoring - May float to High Risk OB
unit as needed and potentially up to two nearby lower-volume
hospitals - Night shift, 3x12 hours, 19:00 to 07:00 - Every other
weekend and holiday required - Block scheduling may be considered
but is not guaranteed - Hospital provides scrubs - Responsible for
the care of laboring and high-risk OB patients including antepartum
and those needing continuous monitoring - Float assignments will
remain within the RN's scope of practice - First time travelers
accepted - Any requested time off must be provided at the time of
application; additional RTO after submission is not permitted - No
local pay rates offered Requirements - Active NJ or compact RN
license required - Minimum 2.5-3 years recent experience in Labor
and Delivery - Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP - Must pass
Dysrhythmia test within 72 hours of contract acceptance, using a PC
only - EPIC charting experience preferred - COVID-19 and Flu
