Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 11/17/2025 - Duration: 9 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours - Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse - CCU/ICU Mullica Hill, NJ Guaranteed Hour: 36 Time Type: Nights 12 (18:45-7:15) (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM) Unit Description Floating Requirements: Stepdown, ED for ICU holds. Patient/Nurse Ratio: 2:1, 3:1, 1:1. Scrub color: Navy Blue. Weekend Requirements: Yes, every other weekend On Call / Holiday Requirements: No Additional Information ICU/CRITICAL CARE RN will be required to float as needed to PCU Major Function: Provide professional nursing care through the nursing process. Meet the needs of the patient, family, and multidisciplinary team through communication, coordination, and evaluation. Comply with all policies and procedures, nursing standards of practice and regulatory bodies. Experience and Requirements: Experience: Must have a MIN. of 2 years' experience- in the ICU and PCU exp. preferred Specialty: Experience within Cardiac ICU preferred Weekend: every other Holiday: 1 per contract if needed RTO: no more than 3 days License: NJ or compact Certs: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (AHA only) Scrub color: Navy Charting: Cerner Call off: - Client may cancel (call-off) up to one (1) shift per two week period without paying for the cancelled hours. First day instructions(FDI): - Failure to complete the full orientation will result in immediate termination. Once scheduled, candidates do not have the option to reschedule any classes. - Candidates will receive an email directly from client the Friday before the Monday start, containing important information regarding the orientation. - Instructions for signing on to the Virtual Welcome meeting and the online HealthStream Module from Human Resources will be sent prior to 8:30 AM on Monday. - The Monday GEO will be conducted virtually from the candidate's own computer. - All assigned HealthStream modules must be completed by Monday. Failure to do so will result in removal from the orientation list. - In-person classes are typically held from Tuesday to Thursday in multiple locations. The specific location may not be listed in the original email; candidates are required to use HealthStream to determine the class location on the day of the class. - The POCT class is mandatory and will not occur during orientation week. - Candidates will receive a unit-based orientation schedule from their manager. - Candidates will receive instructions on how to make an appointment to receive their ID badge in person.
