Key Responsibilities: - Operates MRI scanners to produce detailed internal images of the body, to be used by radiologists and other physicians for diagnosis and treatment - Maintains critical positioning of the patient and equipment during flow of the contrast media to ensure safety of the patient and success of examination results. - Monitor patients during the scan and ensure patient and equipment safety, including magnetic field safety protocols. - Maintains MRI equipment by performing scheduled cleaning, testing and documenting results; notifies supervision of malfunctioning equipment. - Performs other related technologist duties as directed by the lead technologist, supervisor, or manager, including those related to quality assurance and/or control. Key Requirements: - Associates Degree in MRI or radiologic technology - Certification as an MRI Technologist from the ARRT or ARMRIT - License as required by state - Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association Compensation and Schedule: - Pay rates begin at $44.66 but can be significantly higher based on years of working experience - Generous shift differentials - Comprehensive benefits plan - Day and night shifts available - 12 hour shifts - Student loan repayment programs!
