Medical Weight Loss is a rapidly growing practice dedicated to
evidenced based obesity treatment, metabolic health and chronic
disease prevention. We specialize in safe medical weight loss
including pharmacotherapy protocols paired with lifestyle/coaching
support and ongoing monitoring. I am seeking a passionate
Physicians Assistant with experience-or strong interest-in obesity
medicine, endocrinology or chronic disease management to join my
multidisciplinary team. Role Overview The PA will play a key role
in evaluating patients affected by obesity and initiating a weight
loss plan including antiobesity medication when appropriate while
monitoring treatment progress to ensure safe and effective
outcomes. This position requires both clinical decision making and
patient education. Key Responsibilities Conduct patient
evaluations, review medical history and determine obesity care plan
according to clinical protocols. Diagnose, treat and manage obesity
and metabolic health conditions within state scope practice.
Prescribe antiobesity medication and adjust dosages as clinically
indicated. Monitor patient progress through follow-ups, labs, side
effect screenings and treatment response tracking. Provide
counseling on nutrition, exercise and behavioral strategies to
support weight loss and metabolic improvement. Collaborate with
supervising Nurse Practitioner to deliver comprehensive patient
care. Maintain accurate and compliant documentation in the EMR.
