Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH, CPI Must-Have: - Active RN license
- 2 years of experience in an MS/Tele unit - Certifications in BLS,
ACLS, CPI, NIHSS Description: Seeking an MS/Tele Registered Nurse
for night shifts. The position requires working three 12-hour
shifts per week. Every other weekend is required. Holidays will be
scheduled as needed. Floating within the specialty may be required
based on unit needs. Candidates should possess experience in
monitoring cardiac telemetry. Skills in interpreting and managing
dysrhythmias are essential. Experience with IV and central line
management is needed. Candidates will need to demonstrate
proficiency with blood product administration. Caring for patients
of varying ages, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics, is
necessary. The unit provides interdisciplinary support, including
physical therapy and respiratory services. Patient diagnoses
include dysrhythmias and strokes. Candidates will be part of a team
that conducts EKGs and manages drips like Cardizem and amiodarone.
This role requires good teamwork and communication skills.
Compliance with unit and hospital policies is expected. References
will be requested from recent employers. Candidates must float if
census is low. Comfort with floating to different areas of the
hospital within their scope of experience is required. Extensions
may be permitted at the discretion of facility management.
