Weekend Rounding Only Fri–Sun | 12:00 PM – 12:00 AM Rounding only (no clinic) 2?? Traditional Hospital Clinic Role 40-hour workweek Outpatient clinics inpatient coverage 1:5 weekend call rotation 3?? Hospital-Only Shift Model 7-on / 7-off 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM No clinic responsibilities ?? Overnight call is primarily telephone-based ?? Rare in-person call due to 24/7 in-house support Practice Environment Patient Load: Clinic: 20–25 patients per 8-hour day Hospital rounding team: 50–60 patients/day Care Model: Inpatient & outpatient cardiology EMR: Epic Team Structure: Collaborative, multi-facility cardiology group Subspecialty Support: Strong multidisciplinary coverage ?
