Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/16/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 35 hours per week - Shift: 11 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Medical-Surgical Telemetry Brief Unit Description (2–3 sentences max): The 2rd Floor Med Surg Tele unit is a 41-bed inpatient unit providing comprehensive care to adult patients with a range of medical and surgical diagnoses requiring continuous cardiac monitoring. The unit manages moderate-to-high acuity patients and emphasizes teamwork, patient safety, and quality outcomes. Shift Times (8, 10, or 12 hours / Start–End Time):12-hour shifts | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM Call Requirements:None Float to Other Units:Yes Weekend Requirements:Yes Holiday Requirements:Yes Nurse-to-Patient Ratio (if applicable): Up To 1:7 Unit Size / Beds:41 beds Cases Seen:Telemetry monitoring, cardiac conditions, post-operative patients, respiratory issues, diabetes management, infections, and general medical-surgical cases. Years of Experience Preferred: Minimum of 2 years Med Surg and/or Telemetry experience preferred.
