About the Unit Manager Position: Maintains uncompromising quality
of nursing care. Responsible for personnel, management, and
coordination of nursing service activities for the scheduled
working shift, in accordance with established philosophy,
objectives, and policies of the facility to ensure safe and
efficient resident care. Relates effectively with other shifts for
continuity of care and, in the absence of the Director of Nursing
and Assistant Director of Nursing, takes charge.
