Job Description:

Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in providing exceptional rehabilitation services. Our goal is to restore patients to full health and maximize their quality of life. As a Registered Nurse at Encompass Health, you will work collaboratively with a skilled team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care to patients with various conditions. This role requires strong clinical skills, a compassionate approach, and a commitment to comprehensive patient care. Assess patients' health problems and needs, developing and implementing nursing care plans. Administer nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients. Monitor, record, and report symptoms and changes in patients' conditions and vital signs. Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patients' responses and conditions. Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans. Prepare patients for, and assist with, examinations and treatments. Advocate for patients’ health and wellbeing in multi-disciplinary team meetings. Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their families. Strong clinical skills in a hospital setting Ability to handle medical emergencies Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Proficient in using healthcare software and systems Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification preferred
