Here are a few of the responsibilities you can expect: Perform annual healthcare evaluation for adults in all age groups. Diagnose and manage acute illness. Diagnose, treat, and manage chronic illness such as heart disease, cholesterol management, diabetes, thyroid, other endocrine disorders, and arthritis. Provide patient education, disease prevention guidance, and health maintenance support. Qualifications: What you’ll need as a Primary Care Physician (Internal/Family Medicine) Graduate from an accredited Medical School. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine. Active New York Medical License.
