Job Description WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a local contract nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a local contract nursing job in New York, New York. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Local Contract WCS is seeking a Stepdown RN for a Local Contract, at a prestigious hospital in New York. /n /n Job Function: /n - Day Shift and Night Shift. /n - 3x12. /n - Monitor and assess patients’ conditions, recognizing early signs of deterioration and escalating appropriately. /n /n - Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and nursing standards. /n /n - Provide direct patient care including post-surgical management, cardiac/telemetry monitoring, and ventilator/trach support as needed. /n /n - Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and families to develop and implement individualized care plans. /n /n - Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR). /n /n /n /n Job Requirements: /n - Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN). /n - Current RN license for the state of New York. /n - 2 years of acute ICU/MICU RN experience is required. /n /n - BLS & ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association. /n - EPIC experience highly preferred. /n /nDisclosure: The hourly rates and/or salaries listed may or may not reflect total compensation packages including bonus and fringe benefits, etc., nor are the advertisement(s) posted a guarantee of a certain compensation package for a position or bona fide offer of employment.
