Job Description LanceSoft is seeking a Physician Assistant Pulmonology for a local contract job in Bronx, New York. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Pulmonology - Discipline: Physician Assistant - Duration: 52 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Local Contract Pulmonology Physician Assistant | Bronx, NY Description: Join a collaborative pulmonology team providing specialized care for patients with respiratory conditions. The Physician Assistant will support physicians in diagnosing and managing pulmonary diseases while helping improve patient outcomes through comprehensive care. Responsibilities: - Perform patient assessments, histories, and physical exams - Order and interpret tests (chest imaging, pulmonary function tests, ABGs) - Manage respiratory conditions such as asthma, COPD, and sleep apnea - ?? Assist with procedures like thoracentesis and bronchoscopy support - Maintain accurate EMR documentation - Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams Qualifications: - Master’s Degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program - NCCPA Certification - ? Active New York PA License with DEA & prescriptive authority - BLS & ACLS required (PALS preferred) - 1–2 years experience in Pulmonology, Internal Medicine, or Critical Care preferred Benefits: ?
