Job Description WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a local contract nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a local contract nursing job in Camden, New Jersey. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Labor and Delivery - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Local Contract WCS Healthcare is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN to join a high?performing L&D team at a respected hospital in Camden, NJ. The ideal clinician is confident in fetal monitoring, labor management, emergency response, and supporting providers throughout the childbirth process. Job Function: /n - Day Shift. /n - 3x12: 7pm-7am. /n - Assess and categorize patients into the appropriate level of care /n - Apply and interpret external fetal monitoring, including fetal heart tracings and uterine activity /n - Implement timely interventions based on fetal heart rate patterns and maternal condition /n - Identify and respond to obstetric emergencies, escalating to providers appropriately /n - Administer medications safely in accordance with the Five Rights and infection?control standards /n - Perform pain assessments and reassess per clinical guidelines /n - Assist physicians and midwives during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum care /n /n Job Requirements: /n - Active NJ RN license required /n /n - 1 year minimum L&D experience /n /n - Must be able to circulate and scrub for C?sections /n /n - EPIC experience required /n /n - Must have experience with 1:6 ratios.
