Job Description Our client, a reputable healthcare provider
committed to delivering exceptional patient care and advancing
medical education, is hiring a Nocturnist, Internal Medicine
Physician. This vital role involves providing comprehensive
inpatient care during overnight shifts, ensuring optimal patient
outcomes through diligent assessment, diagnosis, and management of
diverse medical conditions. As a Nocturnist, you'll collaborate
with healthcare teams, support educational activities for residents
and medical students, and uphold the highest standards of clinical
excellence. The position offers a unique opportunity to make a

dynamic, engaging healthcare environment. Responsibilities: Deliver
overnight inpatient medical care from 8 PM to 8 AM, managing new
and existing patient cases with professionalism and expertise.
Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate
patient treatment plans and ensure continuity of care. Mentor and
teach residents, medical students, and junior staff, fostering
educational growth and clinical competence. Document patient
encounters thoroughly, adhering to hospital policies and regulatory
requirements. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to
enhance clinical practices and patient safety. Requirements: MD or
DO degree from an accredited medical school. Board Certified or
Board Eligible in Internal Medicine. Eligible to obtain a New York
State medical license. Strong interest in teaching and mentoring
residents and medical students. Excellent communication,
interpersonal, and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently
during overnight hours while maintaining high clinical standards.
