high-quality care. We are seeking Dental Assistants who are
passionate about working with children to be a part of our School
Based Dental Program in the Philadelphia School District. Our
program provides preventative and comprehensive dental care to
children ages 5 to 18, in a safe and familiar environment. Services
include oral health education, routine exams and cleanings, dental
fillings, sealants, and fluoride treatments. This is a wonderful
opportunity for those who enjoy working with children and would
like to positively impact them in learning about good oral health.
Together, with the support of parents, caregivers, district and
school personnel, we deliver great smiles that lead to great
futures! Requirements Responsibilities: Assist with set-up and
breakdown of treatment room. Prepare patient, instruments, and
materials. Sterilization of all equipment. Take/process x-Rays
using digital Radiography equipment. Assist in 4-handed dentistry.
Any other duties, as assigned. Qualifications: Certified or
Registered Dental Assistant with x-Ray Certification Two (2) years
of experience working chair side preferred Able to work with
portable/mobile equipment Familiarity with computers and dental
software Valid driver’s license, reliable/own transportation, and
willingness to travel locally Able to work well with children
Passionate, friendly, and caring individual Prior Pediatric
Dentistry experience preferred Additional Information: Consistent
and dynamic team of a Dentist, a Dental Assistant, and a Dental
Hygienist. Work hours consistent with school calendar. No weekends.
