Job Description Job Description J&E Concessions / Lehigh Valley Ironpigs: Cook The Lehigh Valley Ironpigs strive to provide a positive and memorable experience for every guest every time. Job Requirements: Must be at least 16 years of age Willing to work long hours and be able to stand, walk and bend for an extended amount of time Ability to lift 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds on occasion Carry out instructions given by the Executive Chef or Stand Manager Understand nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards Team-oriented, adaptable, and dependable Must have the ability to multitask Ability to work at a quick, yet efficient and at a thorough pace Knowledge of basic food handling procedures and experience with grilling and frying equipment is preferred. Job Responsibilities: All Cooks may be considered for cross-training in multiple locations of the ballpark at management's discretion. General responsibilities for all positions include but are not limited to: Assist in Game Day preparation of Kitchen per the Executive Chef or Stand Manager's instructions Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies and inventory appropriately Operate and maintain all equipment properly while preparing guests food as ordered Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality, and in a timely fashion. Communicates ticket times and potential problems with the service staff, kitchen staff, and Managers Break down and clean stations daily Maintain safe working conditions and sanitary work area Help with shut down and cleaning procedures of the cooking areas within the Kitchen or Concession Stands at the end of food service Staff Uniform: Ironpigs Staff Ball cap (provided) Ironpigs Staff T-Shirt (provided) Black pants (associates responsibility) Comfortable shoes; non-skid shoes highly recommended (associates responsibility) J ob Type: Part-time Seasonal Pay Compensation: Salary based on previous experience Lehigh Valley Ironpigs - J&E Baseball Concessions LLC is an EEO employer - M/F/Vets/Disabled
