Graduate Princeton - Princeton, NJ Overview: Graduate Princeton is
seeking an energetic and service-driven Bartender to join our Food
& Beverage team. This role is responsible for delivering an
exceptional guest experience by crafting high-quality beverages,
maintaining a welcoming bar atmosphere, and providing attentive,
knowledgeable service. Responsibilities: Prepare and serve
alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established
recipes and presentation standards Provide attentive, friendly, and
knowledgeable service to all guests, creating a welcoming bar
experience Take and process guest orders accurately using the POS
system, handling cash and credit transactions Maintain cleanliness
and organization of the bar, including bar top, service areas, and
equipment Ensure the bar is fully stocked with liquor, beer, wine,
garnishes, and supplies throughout each shift Monitor guest alcohol
consumption and ensure responsible service in compliance with all
laws and company policies Check guest identification to verify
legal drinking age Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and
management to ensure smooth and efficient service Set up and break
down the bar for service, including opening and closing duties
Follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards Assist with
inventory counts and notify management of low stock or supply needs
Qualifications: Previous bartending experience in a restaurant,
bar, or hotel environment preferred Strong knowledge of classic
cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine Excellent guest service and
interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and perform efficiently
in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and accuracy
in order-taking and cash handling Basic math skills for handling
payments and making change Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to
25 lbs for extended periods of time Flexible availability,
including nights, weekends, and holidays Must meet minimum age
requirements to serve alcohol in New Jersey TIPS or similar alcohol
service certification preferred (or ability to obtain upon hire)
