Apply today!General SummaryIn Campbell's IT, the primary purpose of the Project Manager, Hosting and Application Platforms role is to lead, oversee and ensure the successful delivery and management of single or multiple projects. The Project Manager, Hosting and Application Platforms must do this within scope, to a certain quality, and within time and cost constraints. These factors may be clearly defined or may require dynamic change management to deliver business value.Principal Responsibilities Analyze project proposals to determine time frame, funding limitations and appropriate process for accomplishing projects.Identify and schedule project deliverables, milestones, and required activities and tasks.Provide leadership and motivation to project team members throughout the project life cycle, and confer with project staff to outline a work plan.Establish a work plan and staffing for project activities, iterations or phases, and arrange for recruitment or assignment of project personnel.Implement a project communication plan.Perform risk assessment and implement mitigation plans.Monitor project activities, ensuring the currency, quality and integrity of information, while providing consistency in content and "look and feel" across the organization.Ensure that project goals are in line with business objectives.Ensure that project goals are achieved.Assign duties and responsibilities to project personnel and define the scope of their authority.Direct and coordinate the activities of project personnel to ensure that projects progress on schedule and within budget.Prepare status reports, and modify schedules or plans as required.Adhere to Campbell's standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation.Benchmark project management performance continuously to identify the potential for improvements and increase capability in project and portfolio management.Job Complexity / Scope Managing a diverse portfolio of projects across a broad IT infrastructure and application platforms scopeMultiple demands converging on a single team with responsibility for multiple technology platformsAgility to adapt to changing needs coming from a large and important Digital Transformation initiativeJob Specifications Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems (or a related field), project management or general business management preferred or equivalent IT experience.5+ years experience delivering infrastructure projects.Certifications / Licenses / Registrations: PMP, Agile SAFESkills:IT Infrastructure domain expertise, specifically in cloud, data center, SAP Basis, database, enterprise batch scheduling, or CitrixAbility to lead and motivate others; ability to empathize and knowledge of personality types.Ability to adapt to new circumstances in a changing business environment.Familiarity with project management methodologies (for example, that of the Project Management Institute, PRINCE2 and Agile approaches).Sensitivity to working in a political environment and to interacting with senior leadership.Knowledge of project-planning tools.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.Expertise in setting and managing customer expectations.Distinctive blend of business, IT, financial and communication skills. This blend is vital because this is a highly visible position with substantial impact.Effective influencing and negotiating skills in an environment where this role may not directly control resources.Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs, with the ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence.Good understanding of current and emerging technologies, and of how other enterprises are using them to drive digital business.Ability to develop and execute a project resource plan that ensures that the right people are in the right place doing the right things at the right time.Compensation and Benefits:The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between$85,900-$140,800Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
