Job Description:
A client is looking to bring on a director level Enterprise
Security Architecture Manager to lead the design, implementation
and continuous improvmenet of security architecture across the
enterprise. This role will offer full autonomy to build out
security architecture at enterprise level. Client Details The
client is a global leader in the financial services space, with a
particularly niche service offering. Description Strategic
Leadership: Develop and implement a future-ready security
architecture aligned with business objectives, regulatory
requirements, and enterprise risk tolerance. Standards &
Governance: Define and enforce security architecture standards,
frameworks (including SABSA), and best practices across all
business units and technology platforms. Cross-Functional
Collaboration: Partner with departments like IT, Risk, HR, and
Compliance to integrate security into enterprise-wide solutions,
vendor evaluations, and project planning. Team Management &
Development: Lead, mentor, and grow a team of security architects,
fostering innovation, continuous learning, and alignment with
organizational goals. Threat Awareness & Risk Mitigation: Stay
current on emerging threats and industry standards (e.g., NIST,
ISO, GDPR), proactively evaluating and improving enterprise
security posture and controls. Profile Minimum of 10 years in
information security architecture, including 3-5 years in a
leadership role guiding and mentoring technical teams or security
architects in complex enterprise environments. Demonstrated success
designing and implementing secure solutions across cloud platforms,
infrastructure, and applications, with a focus on scalability and
business alignment. Deep working knowledge of enterprise security
and risk frameworks, including NIST, ISO 27001, SABSA, and Cloud
Security Alliance (CCM), with a strong ability to apply them in
real-world scenarios. Proven ability to collaborate with senior
leadership, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to
drive enterprise-level security initiatives and influence
decision-making. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science,
Cybersecurity, Information Management, or related field. Holds one
or more relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC,
or SABSA. Experience with cloud security platforms is highly
