Description:Responsible for the repair and maintenance of company's fleet of 35 trucks (mainly Kenworth & Peterbilt). They have all different type of vehicles that they will be working on- tractors and trailers, box trucks, Dual Trucks, etc. Must be able to complete the following: Required --- Oil changes --- Some motor work (no major engine repairs, that is done in Elizabeth shop) --- Air Brake Knowledge --- Suspension --- Electrical wiring knowledge --- Hydraulics Brake knowledge --- Own Tools Preferred: --- Welding experience --- Torch Experience --- Fabrication --- Tire Changing Capability --- Class B CDL License --- Computer Skill --- Proficient in driving both a manual and automatic transmission truckSkills:Diesel, Truck, Electrical, Repair, Preventive maintenance, Transmission, Fleet, Brake, Hydraulics, Diesel engine, kenworth, peterbilt, troubleshoot, Engine, Mechanical, Diagnosis, Troubleshooting, Mechanical aptitudeTop Skills Details:Preventative Maintenance 5+ yrs Diesel work Multiple engine knowledgeAdditional Skills & Qualifications:---Perform a Pre and Post - Trip Inspection on the trucks that are driven on the road. ---The ability to lift up to 50 lbs. ---Must be able to effectively communicate (verbal & written) & maintain a professional business relationship with co-workers and customers. ---Agreeable to perform service calls on fleet vehicles that have broken down or taken out of service.Experience Level:Intermediate LevelAbout Aerotek:We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
