SET UP OPERATOR Non-Molding

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Setup and operate required machines.
• Troubleshoot and fix minor mechanical issues.
• Maintain good quality and high production rates with little assistance.
• Maintain compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Standards.
• Follow organizational and departmental practices and procedures to ensure safe operations of equipment and personal safety.
• Conduct machine set ups based on the prescribed method, production schedule and production start time.
• Ensure customer quantities are accurate.
• Utilize RF scanners to record completed production.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's).
• Maintain documentation according to GMP standards.
• Record all machine and quality issues in the IQ log.
• Follow standard Troubleshooting Guides to identify core problems which are causing the machine to produce defective ware or fail to meet production standards.
• Strive for continuous improvement
• Follow company containment procedures for Non-Conforming ware.
• Traini new hires and assisting others within the department.
• May lead shift as/if necessary.

    Do You Have…?
    
    • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
    • One to three years related experience and/or training.
    • Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
    • Familiarity with horizontal flow wrapping equipment.
    • Familiarity with bowl feeders, conveyors and assembly equipment.
      Preferred: Offset printing experience.

        • Frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with proper gear or equipment.
        • Occasionally sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
        • Use close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
          WORK ENVIRONMENT
          
          Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and generally works in a clean manufacturing environment that meets Pharmaceutical Customer Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements.
