Title:                     Supervisor, Inventory Control (Cultivation)  

Summary  

The Supervisor, Inventory Control (Cultivation) reports directly to the Cultivation Manager and is responsible for all daily tasks in their assigned areas within the Cultivation Facility. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Key Responsibilities 

  • Follow and implement procedures to maintain accurate real-time plant inventory in METRC and the company seed-to-sale software.
  • Ensure METRC tagging of plants is compliant.
  • Ensure accuracy and completion of daily METRC uploads.
  • Work cooperatively with cultivators and Cultivation Manager to plan, schedule and coordinate harvests, plant transfers and cloning. 
  • Coordinate monthly plant inventory counts and report results to the Cultivation Manager and Accounting Department.
  • Coordinate cycle counts.
  • Investigate any inventory variances and provide detailed report of findings, corrective actions and preventative action.
  • Verify that flower room and harvest room manifests are posted and accurate.
  • Develop forms, spreadsheets, SOPs, and training materials to facilitate efficient and accurate recordkeeping. 
  • Report on cultivation key performance indicators (KPIs) as required.
  • As necessary and on occasion, be available on-site or remotely for inventory counts, data entry, or other critical tasks. 
  • Uphold all company policies and procedures.

Training & Development

  • Participate in recruitment and interviewing of cultivation team agents.
  • Train staff on inventory and data-entry tracking procedures; provide feedback and coaching as needed. 
  • Attend management meetings as needed

Controlling & Preventing Loss

  • Oversee all cannabis inventory counts for cultivation.

Qualifications and Education

  • Must be 21 years old.
  • 3-5 years experience in a supervisory position, managing a diverse team
  • High degree of data entry accuracy
  • Competency in MS Excel and Word
  • Must possess a valid drivers license and reliable transportation
  • Experience in retail, hospitality or patient services, preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic math skills
  • Being able to work with a team
  • Organizational skills
  • Decision making skills
  • Analytical skills
  • Being detail oriented
  • Being proactive

Physical and Environmental Requirements

  • Ability to work a minimum of 10 hours a day and rotating shifts;
  • Flexible schedule availability including nights, weekends and holidays;
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull 50 pounds;
  • Ability to sit, squat, bend, and kneel repetitively throughout a work day;
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time;
  • Ability to use a ladder (up to 12 ft. extension) and general hardware tools needed for common repairs;
  • Ability and willingness to work in the following conditions:
    • General office environment;
    • Extended computer usage;
    • Extended phone usage including teleconferences, and
    • Work environments that include exposure to, but not limited to, fumes, dust, odors, heights, indoor AC, no AC, motion, and noise.
