The requisition is for seeking a highly motivated, creative and productive individual with excellent knowledge and skills of immunogenicity assay method development. He/she will deliver efficiently and effectively bioassay support to the preclinical study with protein and other novel modalities in various biological matrix. The individual is expected to design, develop, and optimize the bioanalytical method to support the discovery and development of diverse biologic modalities, effectively trouble-shoot bioanalytical assay related issues, and actively identify/adopt/develop new technologies to meet the ever-changing needs of projects together with key stakeholders such as DMPK project representatives and Drug Discovery Units (DDUs) groups. Hands on experience in applying various platform tools for bioanalysis, including but not limited to ELISA, MSD, flow cytometry, PCR, RT-PCR, et al.ACOUNTABILITIES:-

  • Serve as the lead bioanalytical scientist on projects or DMPK bioanalytical representative to interact with DMPK and Rare Disease DDU project members.
  • Support early drug discovery and translational research by providing high quality bioanalytical support with a focus on large molecule quantification especially ADA, NAB and other pertinent-platform technologies for immunogenicity assessment for new modalities. Communicate with internal stakeholders regarding the assay needs, progress updates, and DMPK bioanalytical deliverables.
  • Lead and coordinate assay development, sample analysis and reporting data generated by external CROs, willing to learn regulatory guidance/requirements for submission (IND, CTA, NDA, BLA et al).
  • Summarize and present the experimental result in the cross-functional project team, BA group and DMPK department meetings. Proactively seek for opportunities for updating professional skills through training or participating in conferences.- Highly encouraged to contribute in external presentations and publications.
  • Provide scientific monitoring and guidance of external resources (CRO) for the method transfer, development, trouble shooting, qualification, validation and report to support drug discovery and nonclinical development programs.- Assist in managing CRO sample and data flow logistics as necessary.EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:- --
    • The applicant must have a Ph.D. in biology, biochemistry, cell biology, protein engineering or other related fields with 0-3 years of relevant industry research experience.
    • In-depth knowledge, basic skills and preferably hands-on experience in bioanalytical method development in drug discovery program using ELISA, MSD, flow cytometry, or other novel platforms for different drug modalities. PK, ADA and NAB assays are desirable.
    • She or he must demonstrate an excellent publication record in peer-reviewed journals.
